Our Talent Acquisition team will once again be on the ground at some of Portugal’s leading university initiatives, meeting ambitious engineering students and early-career profiles keen to explore what a path in tech can look like.

The first stop is FEUP Engineering Days on March 4, at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). Focused on employability and innovation, the event is designed to inspire an entrepreneurial mindset across FEUP’s community of more than 9,000 students.

A week later, on March 11, we return to the same venue for Another Day at The Office (ADATO): a JuniFEUP-led moment that creates a direct, informal link between students and companies through conversations, networking, and real-world insights into the industry.

Looking ahead to April, our Talent Magnets are also preparing to join SINFO, taking place at the end of the month. As one of Portugal’s leading student-led tech conferences, its mission is to bring students closer with industry leaders in computer science and technology.

For ITSector, universities remain one of the most valuable environments to discover emerging profiles in technology - not only through direct interaction, but through the energy and openness students bring to every conversation. That engagement often leads to more: it inspires new initiatives and training opportunities that help participants strengthen their skills and gain clearer insight into the realities of the industry.

In that spirit, on March 3, in partnership with JuniFEUP, we hosted a React training session at our headquarters, welcoming a group of engineering students for a practical, hands-on experience. It was an opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas with our specialists, and offer participants a closer look at how we build scalable digital solutions across the banking ecosystem.

These first initiatives mark the start of a new season for our team - ready to meet emerging talent, share perspectives, and create opportunities that enrich the journey of young professionals as they take their first steps into the tech industry.
